Red Sails Festival 23rd to 29th July 2023

Volunteers needed for the Red Sails Festival      23rd-29th July 2023

 

We are deep into the planning stage of the Festival and wewe need your help> Any help would be appreciated, be it helping to set up the Bandstand , maning the Gazebo or helping at some of the events in the Crescent or in Agherton Parish Center on Church Street.

We would love to see you on Saturday. Clean uo just takes one hour. We have the equipment and you can choose the area you would like to clean.

Certificate of Appreciation Award for PCA

Portstewart Community Association's work during the pandemic has been recognised by causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council by the award of a Certificate of Appreciation.

During the pandemic  members of the Association:

Made and distributed scrubs to NHS workers and others,

Delivered medicines for Bradley's Chemists,

Hosted two drive in showings of the The Star for local families at Christmas,

Distributed Tesco vouchers and vouchers for healthy, affordable meals from Warke's Deli to those in need,

Bought six laptops for Dominican College students.

 

We are  very proud of the Award!
